Simple, fair, no commitment — here is how it works.
The Bernadette Pro subscription is month-to-month with no lock-in. You can cancel at any time from your Buyer portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
Bernadette payments are processed by Paddle, an authorised reseller that issues your invoices and manages your subscriptions. When you subscribe, you enter into a purchase agreement with Paddle, governed by the Paddle Buyer Terms.
A confirmation email is sent to you by Paddle after each transaction. Keep it: it contains the link to your Buyer portal where you can manage your subscription.
You can cancel your subscription at any time via the Paddle Buyer portal (link in your confirmation email) or by submitting a cancellation request directly to Paddle.
Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You retain full access to all Pro features until that date. No further charges are made after cancellation.
If you are on a free trial and wish to avoid being charged, you must cancel before the end of the trial period.
Under applicable law, consumers residing in the EU, EEA or United Kingdom have the right to withdraw from the Agreement within 14 days of completing a transaction, without giving any reason.
This right does not apply if you have started downloading, streaming, using or benefiting from the service during that 14-day period and you expressly consented, at the time of purchase, to the service being made available before the end of that withdrawal period.
To exercise this right, contact Paddle at help@paddle.com within the applicable timeframe.
As Bernadette is a digital service with immediate access upon subscription, payments are generally non-refundable once the billing period has started, except in the following cases:
Technical failure: If Bernadette was not delivered or experienced a major malfunction due to a technical issue, you are entitled to a replacement or a refund of the relevant charges paid.
Erroneous charge: If you were charged incorrectly, contact us at bernadette.ia@outlook.fr or Paddle at help@paddle.com.
All refund requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis by Paddle, in accordance with the applicable Paddle Buyer Terms.
Businesses that have been charged sales tax (including VAT, GST or similar consumption taxes) may, if registered for that tax in the country of purchase, be eligible for a refund of the relevant tax amount.
You must contact Paddle within 60 days of the transaction date and provide a valid tax registration number or, where applicable, a tax exempt certificate. Requests received after this period may be declined.
Bernadette offers a free plan with no credit card required. You can try the service before subscribing to make sure it fits your needs.
For any questions about your subscription or billing, contact Paddle directly at help@paddle.com, or the Bernadette team at bernadette.ia@outlook.fr. We typically reply within one business day.
